Working from the inside-out requires a set of skills that Kate positions both as a frame for the work and as a set of skills that participants can take with them into their own lives and leadership responsibilities. Kate's energy, curiosity, humour and commitment to results , as coach characterizes her impact on clients. Kate’s practice is unique, in that she draws individuals and teams from the corporate and educational milieu. Clients range from ACCO Canada Inc., Cambridge University Press, Ontario’s Ministry of Education, 26 School Districts from across Ontario, Canada’s and New York State’s top Professional Associations for Educational Leadership, Teaching Federations, Provincial Associations for Independent, Catholic and Montessori Schools and coaching programs for youth courts in southern Ontario. Background Kate is a certified professional coach (ACPC). Kate completed her training and certification at an International Coach Federation (ICF) accredited coaching school, Adler International Learning Inc. in Toronto, Ontario. Prior to receiving her certification as a coach, Kate taught with the Toronto District School Board and was awarded the ‘Young Professional Award’ by the Canadian Association for Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (CAPHERD) for her leadership. Kate served for four years as a member of the Curriculum Advisory Council for the province of Ontario, in conjunction with the Ontario Physical and Health Education Association (OPHEA) and was a member of the National Advisory Committee for the Acitv8 program. More recently, Kate presented her work at the 2011 International Conference of Principals and The World Congress for Play and Child Psychotherapy, University College, Chichester, England. Kate has a Master’s Degree in Education, a Bachelor of Education from York University and an undergraduate degree in Physical Education and French from the University of Western Ontario.
